Last year Jessica wanted to get her ears pierced. I decided what the heck. If she wants to go through the pain, let her. She chickened out, but said wisely that she felt she would be more prepared when she turned 7. Well, she reminded me of her desire and we decided to go get it done. I asked if she was sure she wanted to do this. She said, "Yes!" What a trooper! No tears! I still haven't worked up my own nerve yet.

Here's an update...
Several hours after my last comment, Kinsie arrived home from the mall with the boys and Brooklyn... What's this? Brooklyn got her ears pierced today! I guess she'll be less likely to be mistaken for a little boy now, since the hair isn't coming in very fast.
