Ode to be 2

Glancing down at my tiny 2 year old
laying down beside me
sucking her thumb with one hand,
holding her "po" with the other
while I rub the soft skin of her back.
The world must be so big from 32 inches tall.

Her little feet padding double time to keep up.
What comfort to know all is well.
No problem too big that mama can't fix

Hugs and kisses abound
