Jessica is turning 12

It's hard to believe my little girl is growing up. 12 is a big step. She's more than ready to make this transition. Soon she'll be going to young women's girls camp and entering the temple for the first time. We've been waiting almost 3 years to take her Great Grandma's name through the temple.
This is the first time I will have actually known a person personally for whom the work is being done. Someone dear to my husband - his mama, the one who raised him since he was about 6, Gavin's age. The Grandma that suggested we leave Jessica at 2 1/2 years old with her in Venezuela after she took a liking to her following her around begging for chupi-chupis.  I hope that the woman who threatened to throw boiling water on the missionaries who taught my husband as a teenager will be humble enough to accept the work being done for her now. I know it would mean the world to Jhonny. We're preparing for an emotional day either way. Just a few weeks more. . .
My baby is growing up and she just keeps making me older. I'm so blessed to be her mother.

Some pics from her Birthday party!

What is a June birthday without a trip to the pool?

She's 12! Can't believe it!

Fun times!
